HIIC students share their experiences and insights of poverty

What happened?

In these writings, HIIC students share their experiences and insights into living with poverty in their communities. As a society that believes in compassion and justice, these writings from HIIC students act as a call to action to address inequalities and the increasing number of people being swept up in the wake of crushing poverty.

Disturbing yet timely, this collection of writing from students of the Health Issues in the Community course (HIIC) reveals the corrosive effect that poverty and inequality are having on a day-to-day basis in modern Scotland.
