Our HIIC Journey

The HIIC group who meet at Douglas Community Centre share their HIIC journey and the impact is has had on their lives so far in this short video.

The group, 5 women ranging in age from 17 to 61 years, completed Part 1 of the course and worked together to deliver a group presentation. The women chose a topic close to their heart. For this group this was mental health and wellbeing. They chose to devise a play around self–harm and suicide which they recently preformed at the CHEX conference. The play entitled ‘She Died Waiting’ depicts the story of a young woman who self–harms.
