Sparking healthier futures: celebrating the impact of Health Issues In the Community
22nd October
The Barracks, Stirling
Save the date to join the HIIC team on 22nd October at the Barracks in Stirling to share learning, hear some practical examples of HIIC in action, and celebrate the lasting impact of HIIC in communities where it is used to spark a healthier future for people by taking action on what is important to them.
This event is aimed at HIIC tutors and participants, as well as those working in wider community-led health.
We’ll be balancing a mixture of sharing and learning from the network on the myriad ways in which HIIC can be used as a catalyst for community action, as well as allowing space to acknowledge and celebrate the huge amount of hard work that goes into making Health Issues In the Community such a long-standing and successful project.
Get involved
We are looking for your ideas to help us shape the event. We’re at the early planning stages so please use the box in the sign up sheet below to let us know if you would like to share your experience of HIIC on the day - this could be in the form of a workshop, sharing your experience in a presentation, a poster or video, or in a form we haven’t thought of yet!
Don’t worry if you don’t have a fully-developed plan, we just want to hear from you if you have something to share about HIIC and our team will get back to you to chat about it.
And if you would simply like to attend to soak up all the learning and have a bit of fun, fill in the sheet so we know how big a crowd to expect!
